Pimples or Acne can be more than a temporary discomfort. For many people, it’s a fact of everyday life. Most of the best acne epidermis care treatments suggested by physicians are affordable over-the-counter items, though some require a prescribed.

The first line of treatment for most acne problems is external creams, ointments and alternatives, according to doctor members of the American Organization of Skin care. These items, available over the reverse or in more powerful prescribed treatments, contain proven acne-fighting substances such as benzoic bleach, salicylic acid, medicines or retinoid.

These medicines generally work two ways:

  • They reduce the amount of acne-causing viruses on the epidermis,
  • They help keep skin pores free from the built-up trash that causes swelling and swelling.

Always apply external items about 10 to 15 minutes after carefully washing the epidermis as any additional wetness can cause discomfort.
